Bio: Jan Michael Field was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, and spent thirty five years teaching as an art professor at Eastern Michigan University. As a well-respected instructor within the EMU community, Jan was well known for his support of his students which helped them to grow as artists. Strong abstract concepts, and gentle humor underlie Jan’s artwork.
