Palm frond Furniture originated in motels and homes within the state of Florida from the beginning of the 20^th century through the 1950’s and is now considered part of Florida’s “native furniture.” These types of furnishings are made from harvested trees, which are then dried and woven into different designs. The natural aesthetic of the material gives it a raw, tropical and distinctly Old Florida feel.
